A Message from Founder Michael Chasnoff

I am writing to share an exciting update from Truepoint Wealth Counsel. But first, some history.

Our founding in 1990 was built on a vision of putting the client first by providing fiduciary guidance and making thoughtful investments in the firm to continually enhance both our client and employee experience. Our evolution over more than three decades has remained true to that vision – the introduction and expansion of tax and estate services, the establishment of an employee-ownership plan, and the development of our Commas service offering are all key initiatives in Truepoint’s history.

The hallmark of these milestones is a commitment to a long-term approach, recognizing that the intentional growth of our firm allows us to operate as an exception to the norm: an independent firm where client and employee satisfaction lead the way.

As we near our 34th anniversary, we approach another important milestone. Effective April 1, 2024, I will officially transition my CEO role to our president, Steve Condon. My new title will be founder & chairman as I continue to be actively engaged with the management team to help drive our long-term vision. Steve recently celebrated his 20th anniversary at Truepoint and has operated in the president role for more than a decade. As a result, he possesses strong institutional knowledge, a deep understanding of our industry, and the full support and respect of our team of almost 100 employees.

Additionally, a specific focus for us over the last six years has been the development of our leadership structure across the firm, which has us well-positioned for both this transition and the future. I am pleased to announce the promotion of four long-tenured employees on our management team: Katrina Hartsel as chief operating officer, Scott Keller as chief infrastructure officer, Nate Johnson as co-chief client officer, and Courtney Weber as co-chief client officer. These team members continue to demonstrate exceptional dedication, expertise, and leadership within their respective roles, and have been instrumental in shaping Truepoint’s client and employee experiences.

Thank you for your continued trust and support as we embark on this exciting new chapter at Truepoint.
