Chris’ Story
As Director of Institutional Investing at Truepoint Institutional Advisors, Chris guides investment strategy and provides ongoing portfolio implementation and oversight for institutional clients. With more than three decades of experience advising institutions on their investment strategies, Chris saw how small- and mid-sized organizations often weren’t able to access the same research-driven, cohesive solutions that benefited larger institutions. He joined Truepoint because he was impressed by the firm’s independent structure and its unwavering focus on its clients’ best interests. He is passionate about providing robust and consistent investment strategies to organizations that have typically been underserved by the financial services industry.
Prior to joining Truepoint Institutional Advisors, Chris was Managing Principal and Chief Investment Officer at Fund Evaluation Group and also worked in the trust department of Fifth Third Bank.
Chris draws on his institutional investing experience to give back to his community and has served on numerous boards and investment committees, including the Cincinnati Retirement System and Lambda Chi Alpha Fraternity, as well as philanthropic organizations, including his church, the Catholic Inner-city Schools Education (CISE) Foundation, Glenmary Home Missioners, the Cincinnati Reds Hall of Fame and Museum, and Mt. St. Joseph University. He also served as an Adjunct Instructor at the University of Cincinnati teaching a course on portfolio management. In his leisure time, Chris enjoys playing golf, watching sports, and spending time with his family.
