“Growing up in a successful enterprising family, I was raised with a ‘family first’ mentality that has carried into adulthood and passed along to my own children. What I love about Truepoint is that the clients I work with allow me to get to know them in a deep and meaningful way. This familiarity provides the opportunity to help them define and embrace a ‘family first’ approach for themselves.
And the work is incredibly rewarding as I continually find myself learning new things, which benefits other families I work with and enriches me, both professionally and personally.”
Alexandra’s Story
Alexandra Huffman Ollinger grew up with a strong family identity tied to her family’s business making bicycles. The Huffman family founded Huffy Bicycles in 1892 and by the time Alexandra came along it was a prosperous multi-generational business. Because of this background, Alexandra is uniquely positioned to help families think about and leverage their wealth to create strong families and lasting legacies. She works closely with the entire family—from the wealth creators, to their children now raising their own families, to the grandchildren charting a new course. As a 21/64 Certified Advisor, Alexandra is devoted to engaging, educating and empowering the next generation. She facilitates multigenerational conversations about legacy and philanthropic planning in support of family harmony and thriving family members. She especially enjoys helping younger generations develop and hone their financial skills as they prepare to steward the family’s wealth. In all of her efforts, she focuses on ensuring that the family is aligned across generations and that every member understands their role in managing the family’s wealth.
Alexandra enjoys spending time with her own family, including her husband, their two school-aged children, her parents, and her sister’s family. She cherishes their annual summers in Harbor Springs, Michigan which she describes as “heaven on earth.” She also is an avid walker and attends yoga and pilates classes whenever she can. With a deep appreciation for the arts, she is a loyal supporter of the Cincinnati Ballet, where she currently serves on the board of trustees. Alexandra also serves on the board of the Cincinnati Country Day School board and is active in their enrollment and communications committee. And as gardening is another favorite hobby of Alexandra’s, she is also involved with Cincinnati’s Town and Country Garden Club.
