Truepoint Wealth Counsel Named to 2018 Financial Times 300 Top Registered Investment Advisers
July 6, 2018 – Truepoint Wealth Counsel is pleased to announce it has been named to the 2018 Financial Times 300 Top Registered Investment Advisers. The list recognizes top independent RIA firms from across the U.S.
“Truepoint is honored by this continued recognition as one of the leading RIA firms in the country,” said CEO and Founder Michael J. Chasnoff. “For almost 30 years, our focus has been on finding ways to make our clients lives simpler, and their money more productive. This accolade tells us we are on the right path to offering a client experience that can’t be found elsewhere.”
2018 marks the fifth consecutive year Truepoint has been named to the FT 300. In September 2017, Truepoint was named to Barron’s Top 100 Independent Advisors for the seventh time, and more recently, the Cincinnati Enquirer recognized Truepoint as a top workplace.
This is the fifth annual FT 300 list, produced independently by the Financial Times in collaboration with Ignites Research, a subsidiary of the FT that provides business intelligence on the investment management industry. RIA firms applied for consideration, having met a minimum set of criteria. Applicants were then graded on six factors: assets under management (AUM); AUM growth rate; years in existence; industry certifications of the firm’s advisers; online accessibility; and compliance records. There are no fees or other considerations required of RIAs that apply for the FT 300.
The final FT 300 represents an impressive cohort of elite RIA firms from 38 states and Washington, D.C. According to the research, the median FT 300 company manages $1.7 billion in assets – up from $1.2 billion on the 2017 list.
