Janel Carroll serves as a wealth advisor on the Truepoint team where she is responsible for managing client relationships and engaging specialist teams. Janel started at Truepoint in 1995 as a paraplanner and most recently held the role of Chief Operating Officer, where she oversaw the financial management of the firm, and also led Truepoint’s compliance and administrative teams responsible for the firm’s financial reporting, technology and custodial relationships.
Janel earned a bachelor’s of business administration degree in accountancy from the University of Notre Dame. She is a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) and CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ professional. Janel is currently seeking accreditation as a Certified Divorce Financial Analyst.
Outside of work, Janel serves on the boards of ArtWorks, a non-profit organization that connects artists of all ages with opportunities, and St. Joseph Home, a facility that provides residential and respite programs for infants, children and adults with severe to profound developmental disabilities.
With two children in college and graduate school, Janel is adjusting to an empty nest. She enjoys staying active by walking, golfing, and is Truepoint’s only NASCAR fan.
