“Albert Einstein once said, ‘The hardest thing in the world to understand is the income tax.’ So many people feel bogged down and stressed out by taxes, and that’s why I want to help them through this process. There is nothing better than sitting down with a client and helping them understand their own tax return and visibly watching that stress dissipate.”
Grace joined the Truepoint tax team where she focuses on individual tax return planning and preparation, having previously worked at Wright-Patterson Air Force Base in Dayton, Ohio as a financial specialist. However, it was volunteering at the Base tax center that changed her career goals. “Helping both active and retired military members preparing their taxes felt like one of the best and most rewarding experiences I’ve ever had.” This volunteer effort helped shape the career she’s pursing today and brought her to Truepoint.
Grace earned her bachelor’s degree and MBA from Wright State University and is a certified public accountant and certified management accountant (CMA). She is also licensed as an Ohio accident and health insurance agent and holds the DoD financial management certification.
Grace is an avid horseback rider and has been riding at the same horse farm since she was six years old. Two of her favorite charities are Pantene Beautiful Lengths and Locks of Love, both of which she has donated to multiple times through the years.
