“I love our team approach here at Truepoint. No matter how talented a group of individuals might be, to be a successful team they must work hard together for the betterment of the team and learn to rely on each other, not just themselves. This is how we work at Truepoint and I think it is the key to our success.”
Ginger leads Truepoint’s tax team and plays an essential role in helping clients meet their goals. Ginger has extensive experience in tax research, planning and compliance.
She also serves as a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA) Tax Reform Task Force, which advocates sound policy and assists lawmakers on tax policy matters. “I love solving everyday tax problems and working on planning and compliance, but I am just as passionate about working to improve and simplify our federal tax system.”
A magna cum laude graduate of the University of Alabama’s Culverhouse School of Accountancy, Ginger holds both a bachelor’s degree in accounting and a master’s degree in tax accounting. She is a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) and member of the AICPA and OSCPA. She has also taught undergraduate accounting and tax classes at the University of Mississippi and Villa Julie College (now Stevenson University) in Maryland.
Ginger and her husband have three sons. In addition to volunteering at Archbishop Moeller High School and working with La Soupe Inc., her favorite things include spending time with her family, traveling and sports, especially Alabama football.
